2007 Skillogalee Trevarrick Single Contour Cabernet Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson red colour with very deep dark crimson red hue. The nose has good intensity with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and liquorice with a light spearmint overlay and some underlying vanillin cedar. Rich plush palate flavours of ripe blackcurrant and blackberry followed by a touch of liquorice, mint and spicy cedar. Fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Long ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, blackberry, mint and cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
