2007 Schild Estate Barossa Sparkling Shiraz

Deep purple mauve mousse with dark red mauve base wine colour. Very fine bead showing good persistence. The nose displays aromas of blackberry, plum and liquorice. Generous palate flavours of blackberry, liquorice, plum and confectionary with a creamy texture. Good length. Aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
