A generous Victorian Shiraz.

Prior to establishing Pondalowie in 1997, winemakers Dominic and Krystina Morris worked vintages in Australia and Portugal, with Krystina spending time at St Hallett and Boar’s Rock.

Totally opaque, saturated, black dark crimson red colour with very deep, dark red black hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of liquorice, dark plum and blackberry followed by some confectionary end notes. Delivering outstanding concentration, the palate is loaded with an abundance of dark, ripe fruit, with liquorice and blackberry dominant, followed by some black plum, confectionary and spice. Dense and rich with a plush, voluptuous mouthfeel and silky, smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe, sweet blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2011-2016).
Alc 14.0%
