The outstanding quality of Shiraz produced from the 2007 vintage in Western Australia has not just been restricted to top end producers – this is a remarkable effort given it’s price point. The wine was matured in a combination of French and American oak of which 25% was new for a period of 20 months.

A very peppery Rhone like Shiraz

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red black hue. Youthful aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, inky liquorice, some meat like characters, blackpepper and spice. Medium to full bodied palate delivering flavours of blackberry, liquorice, spice and blackpepper. Excellent length. Fine grained tannins with long spicy blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper aftertaste.
