2007 Norfolk Rise Vineyard Shiraz

Matured for 14 months in predominately French oak this wine displays an opaque dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Aromas of plum, leather and liquorice. The palate displays good weight being medium to full bodied. Spicy palate flavours of blackberry and liquorice with some leather overtones and blackpepper on the back palate. Fine slightly dryish tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, leather and blackpepper.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
