Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Restrained nose with subtle aromas of cherry, plum, spice and cedar. Spicy palate flavours followed by some cherry, plum, cedar and a touch of earth. The acidity is a touch high at this stage. Fine grained dryish tannins – slightly chalky. Spicy aftertaste with a touch of cherry. A leaner styled Pinot.
