2007 Mountadam Vineyards Cabernet Merlot

Aged in French oak for 14 months. Near opaque, deep dark red colour with deep dark brick red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, spice and cedar. The palate displays blackcurrant and mulberry flavours followed by some cedar and a very spicy back palate. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins and moderate aftertaste of spice, mulberry and tobacco.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013)
