This is one of Masi’s unique speciality wines, made using the Masi double fermentation technique whereby fermented wine from the fresh grapes is re-fermented with 25% of whole semi-dried (dried for about six weeks) grapes of the same varieties. Produced from a blend of 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara the wine sees a minimum of 18 months in oak.

Very deep dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherry, spice and earth with a leathery overtone. Medium bodied the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry, earth and spice with a dry meaty leather like finish. Dryish fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spice, dark cherry, earth and leather.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
Alc 13.0%
