2007 Marguet Pere et Fils Vintage Rose Champagne Grand Cru

Excellent white frothy mousse showing good hold with salmon pink base wine colour. Exceptionally fine and very persistent bead. Superb lifted nose with aromas of winter strawberries and rose petal intermixed with yeast lees and biscuit. The palate is quite refined with subtle winter strawberries and raspberry overlaid by some yeast autolysis characters and baked bread. Clean crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees, winter strawberries, some light toast and baked bread.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
