2007 Mandala Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays strong cedar aromas with top note of cherry, followed by spice and a hint of strawberry. The palate is more restrained, flavours of cherry and spice, however there is a lack of that velvet, joosy quality that is the hallmark of great Pinot. Fine dryish tannins. Cherry and spice aftertaste.
