2007 Langmeil Blacksmith Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in 20% new and 80% seasoned French oak for 24 months.Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of very ripe blackcurrant, dark mulberry and cedar with some earthy leather like end notes. Full bodied and very ripe the palate delivers flavours of ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate and stewed plum followed by some leather, cedar and spice. Slightly dryish tannins with aftertaste of stewed fruits, leather and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
