2007 Knee Deep Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Knee Deep was established in 2000 at Wilyabrup by Perth surgeon Phillip Childs. The name refers  tongue-in-cheek to the fact that the vineyard was started during the testing times of the grape glut.

Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Grassy, herbaceous top note, followed by ripe tropical fruit, showing strong varietal character. The palate has good weight, with flavours of tropical fruit, ripe gooseberry and ripe passionfruit. Clean finish. Aftertaste of lemon, sherbet, tropical fruit and gooseberry.
