This blend is composed of 54% Shiraz, 24% Grenache and 22% Mourvedre. Medium body, crimson mauve colour with deep mauve hue. Perfumed nose, liquorice allsorts top note followed by raspberry and spice showing good varietal characters. The palate does not quite deliver what the nose promises. Flavours of plum raspberry and spice followed by black pepper and a touch of dark chocolate. Spicy back palate. Soft tannins. Very long spicy black pepper and plum aftertaste.
