2007 Journeys End Vineyards Ascent Shiraz

Opaque black, dark red colour with red dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark plum and blackberry, followed by some liquorice allsorts and chocolate notes, showing good intensity. Full bodied with a generous dark flavour profile of blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate, followed by some spice characters on the back palate. Excellent length. Super fine grained, almost velvet-like tannins, with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
