2007 Honey Moon Vineyard Shiraz

This wine was matured in French barriques and hogsheads of which 30% new for a period of 15 months.Opaque black purple colour with purple crimson hue. Aromas of blackberry, plum and spice with a hint of liquorice allsorts present. Full bodied palate with ripe blackberry, plum, liquorice allsorts and spice flavours followed by some black and white pepper back palate characters. Good fine grained tannin structure with long aftertaste of spice, liquorice and pepper.
