The Forest Hill Vineyard was planted in 1965 on a remote property in the Mount Barker district of Western Australia. Forest Hill is the oldest cool climate vineyard in Western Australia, having been established by the Pearse family after an exhaustive search for suitable cool climate vineyard sites by WA's Department of Agriculture and Dr John Gladstone. The original plantings consisted of two hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling with the first wine being made at Houghton’s in the Swan Valley.

A Classic Riesling!

Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Fresh lifted nose of rose petal, orange blossom and lime showing very good aromatics. The palate flavours are impressive, with pineapple, lemon and lime flavours being very distinctive. Crisp but balanced acidity. Lemon, lime and pineapple aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2012-2013)
Alc/Vol: 12.8%
