2007 Fattoria Casabianca Sussingo

This Tuscan red is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Sangiovese. Deep dark red colour with mauve brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of cherry, spice, leather and earth. Light to medium weight the palate displays flavours of spice, dark cherry and blackcurrant with some leathery cedar characters on the back palate. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spice, dark cherry and some earthy leather.
Cellar 1-2 years (2011-2012).
