2007 Domaine Les Hautes Cances Cairanne Cotes Du Rhone Villages

Opaque dark crimson red black colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays a meaty top note followed by some dark cherry, spice and blackpepper. Medium weight the palate displays generous flavours of dark cherries, liquorice and spice with a meaty leather like overlay. Fine grained slightly dryish but balanced tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and meaty leather like characters.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
