2007 Calder Grove Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

A commercial dry white.
Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. The nose is quite subtle, with delicate Sauvignon Blanc character. Light citrus and lemon flavours over a delicate grassy herbaceous top note with just a hint of unripe gooseberry as an end note. The palate is a touch broad, with flavours of spice over a herbaceous, gooseberry background. Crisp acid finish. Grassy, herbaceous aftertaste.
