2007 Ashbrook Estate Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and black cherries are intermixed with some blackpepper followed by an overlay of some meaty leather like characters. Full bodied the palate is filled with ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours followed by some explosive blackpepper and meaty back palate characters. Fine grained solidly constructed tannins. Excellent depth with long blackpepper, liquorice and meaty aftertaste.
Cellar a further 4-5 years.
