2007 Ash Ridge Vineyard Reserve Cabernet Merlot

Opaque black crimson red colour with black crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted tobacco notes, followed by blackcurrant, violets and cedar. The palate displays good weight and flavour concentration with blackcurrant and mulberry followed by truffle, cedar and spice. Very fine grained tannins. Excellent palate length with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry and cedar. An excellent example of a fully ripened New Zealand Cabernet Blend.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
