A red that is drinking well – Made by winemaker Michael Zitzlaff. Medium body, brick red colour with brick red hue, showing bottle age. Aroma of cedar and cigar box, followed by a hint of leather and stewed fruit. Excellent balance with fine grained slightly chalky tannins. Flavours of cedar and blackcurrant with overlay of dark chocolate and white pepper. Stewed fruit back palate. Very long aftertaste of cedar, stewed fruit, dark chocolate and white pepper.
