2006 Yarra Yering Dry Red No. 1 - Stocktake Sale Item

This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec.
Very deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Top note of blackcurrant followed by spice, cedar and a hint of cassis. The palate is disappointing, lacking length and depth. Simple flavours of stewed fruit and cedar. Fine grained tannins are soft. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and cedar.
