An impressive Sangiovese which displays ripe fruit flavours and not just assertive tannins. Medium body. Crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of dark cherry, followed by spice and just a hint of new leather, delivering a perfumed sniff and showing good varietal character. The palate delivers flavours of cherry and spice and is supported by fine tannins. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins. Aftertaste of cherry and spice.
