2006 Valtravieso VT Tinta Fina

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays an aromatic profile of lifted dark cherries, spice and ripe blackcurrant followed by some meaty cedar nuances with a light leather overlay. Medium to full bodied the palate displays rich ripe dark cherry and blackcurrant flavours followed by some spice, earth and chewy leather like characters on the back palate. Chewy, dry, slightly firmish but balanced tannin structure with long dark cherry, blackcurrant, leather and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-8 years (2016-2019).
