2006 Tintara McLaren Vale Shiraz

Matured in French and American oak. Black purple colour with black purple hue, showing good cling to the glass. Perfumed violet top note, followed by blackberry and plum with vanilla end note. A delightful sniff. The palate has good weight with flavours of liquorice and dark chocolate. Moderate length. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum, blackberry and vanilla.
