2006 Tim Adams Cabernet Malbec

A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc that was matured for 24 months in a variety of new and second use French oak. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. Aromas of ripe mulberry, mint and dusty cedar followed by a touch of spice. The palate is quite full bodied displaying good richness with flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and spicy cedar followed by a hint of mintiness. Excellent concentration and depth. Dry slightly firmish tannins with medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar, mint and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
