2006 Thorn Clarke Sandpiper Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with deep purple mauve hue. Top note of blackcurrant, followed by a hint of liquorice and spice with a truffle end note. The palate displays flavours of cedar, cigar box and stewed fruit. Fine dry, slightly dusty tannins. There is a hint of stalkiness evident. Aftertaste of cedar and cigar box. Cellar 3-4 years (2010-2011) Alc/Vol: 13.5%
