2006 The Prince Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with deep purple mauve hue. Aromas of ripe plum, spearmint, liquorice allsorts and confectionary. The palate comes as somewhat of a disappointment displaying good weight but little depth or length. Flavours of ripe plum and raspberry along with some liquorice allsorts and blackpepper quickly disappear. Fine grained dryish tannins. Short aftertaste of plum, spice and whitepepper.
