2006 Te Kairanga Estate Pinot Noir

Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Semi translucent. Superb lifted nose with spice, strawberry jam, plum and cherry notes. The palate does not deliver the same degree of excitement as the nose. Plum, spice and cherry flavours are dominant with stewed fruit emerging on the back palate. Stewed fruit and plum aftertaste.
