2006 Skillogalee Basket Pressed The Cabernets Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc Malbec

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec was matured for 2 years in oak hogsheads.

Opaque, dark crimson red colour with deep, dark brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark chocolate, blackcurrant, mint and cedar – quite perfumed. Medium to full bodied palate with flavours of blackcurrant, mint, cedar and spice with a touch of leafy tobacco also making an appearance. Excellent length. Very fine grained, perfectly integrated tannins with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spearmint, cedar and leafy tobacco. Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2013)
