2006 Shelmerdine Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Lifted nose of liquorice allsorts and blackcurrant with a hint of vanilla. The palate reveals subdued levels of fruit with mint and dark chocolate present, however, it is the persistent dry tannins that overtake the fruit. There is a hint of white pepper in the background. Dry tannins persist through the aftertaste.
