2006 Rymill Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine was matured in a combination of new, one year and two year-old French oak barriques for approximately 24 months. Opaque dark red black colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, violets, tobacco and cedar followed by some spice and cigar box end notes – a classic Cabernet sniff. Tight knit palate with flavours of blackcurrant, cedar, spice and cigar box. An elegant but relatively closed Coonawarra Cabernet.
