2006 Redheads Studio Esule Dry Red

This wine has been made from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Cabernet Franc.
Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is impressive with top note of blackcurrant followed by raspberry, truffle, spice and cedar, delivering a perfumed sniff. The palate has excellent weight and depth with flavours of blackcurrant, raspberry and spice. Excellent length. Fine grained perfectly balanced tannins. Very long aftertaste of raspberry, cedar and blackcurrant.
