2006 Quealy Rageous Sangiovese Shiraz Pinot Merlot

The ever innovative Kathleen Quealy has come up with a new red blend, which consists of co-fermented Sangiovese, Shiraz, Pinot and Merlot. Very deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Top note of cherry followed by confectionary and spice delivering a lightly perfumed sniff, with a strawberry end note. The palate reveals flavours of cherry, spice, confectionary and strawberry. Soft tannins make this wine an appealing early drinking style. Aftertaste of strawberry, cherry and spice.
