2006 Pillar Box Red Shiraz Cabernet Merlot

Winemaker, Chris Ringland has produced a wine with an opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose starts off well with aromas of mulberry, spice and cassis, displaying ripe fruit notes followed by end notes of liquorice and spice. The palate delivers flavours of dark chocolate followed by liquorice and mocha. The tannins are dry and chalky, leaving behind a perception of some coarseness. Aftertaste of spice, mocha and liquorice.
