2006 Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz

Matured in a combination 90% French and 10% American oak hogsheads for approximately 18 months. Totally opaque black crimson colour with black dark crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted top notes of liquorice and dark chocolate followed by some vanilla, confectionary and spice notes. The palate delivers ripe opulent flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate, confectionary and vanilla spice displaying excellent depth. Very fine grained velvet like tannins. Long aftertaste of dark blackberry, chocolate bullets and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years (2016-2017).
