Medium body, semi translucent crimson mauve colour. The nose delivers good varietal character of cherry and spice, with a strawberry jam end note. On the palate some light liquorice flavours emerge followed by cherry and spice. Soft tannin finish. Cherry and spice aftertaste.

First Tasted 7th March, 2007;
Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. The nose displays good varietal character with a spicy top note, followed by raspberry, cherry and strawberry with anise end note. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel. Fine grained tannins are supported by flavours of strawberry and spice, followed by a hint of earth and truffle on the back palate. Aftertaste of cherry, spice and liquorice.
