2006 Olsen Wines Pinot Noir

Matured for 14 months in French oak. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with mauve brick red hue. The nose displays perfumed aromas of dark cherries, violets and a touch of game followed by some spicy end notes. Medium weight the palate still possesses good richness and depth with flavours of dark cherries, plum, game and spicy cedar. Very fine grained soft tannins. Excellent power wave with medium to long aftertaste of dark cherry, spicy cedar and a touch of gamey anise.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
