2006 Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot

The fruit for this wine is sourced from Gemtree’s vineyard in McLaren Vale and the Longbottom’s vineyard in Padthaway. The wines name, ‘Scooter’ is derived from Sparky’s University days when he use to race scooters.
Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Top note of ripe mulberry followed by spice, cedar and confectionary, delivering a perfumed sniff. On the palate flavours of ripe mulberry, spice and liquorice emerge. Fine grained velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry and spice.
Cellar 1-2 years (2008-2009)
