2006 Lindemans Pyrus Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc

Opaque black dark red colour with very deep dark red hue. The nose displays refined scents of blackcurrant, mint, cedar and spice, followed by some cigar box end notes. Medium bodied the palate displays an elegant flavour profile of blackcurrant and spice with a cedary cigar box overlay. Fine grained, slightly chalky but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, spicy cedar and cigar box. Matured for 12 months in predominantly new French oak.
Cellar a further 3-4 years (2014-2015).
