Winemaker Paul Lindner uses a synergy of old and new world wine making equipment to create the Langmeil Style. The grapes are hand picked. Upon delivery to the winery are placed in the receival bin and gently worked through the crusher, however, often the fruit goes only through the de-stemmer before being placed in an open fermenter. This process leaves more whole berries in the ferment which undergo a partial malolactic maceration adding greater complexity and sweet fruit flavours to the finished wines. The blend is composed of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier.

Opaque black crimson purple colour with black purple hue. Superb aromatic nose – perfumed lift of violet, spice and liquorice allsorts end note. The palate is flavours filled with moderate length. Flavours of liquorice allsorts, plum and dark chocolate abundant. Fine grained tannins – very long and persistent spicy aftertaste.
