2006 Knappstein Chardonnay

An impressive Chardonnay showing a rare elegance of subtle sophistication.

Bright straw colour with water like hue. Refined nose of melon, fig and white peach. The palate continues the sophisticated delivery that the nose began. Flavours of melon, peach and citrus over a layer of dried apricot on the back palate. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of dried apricot, white peach and melon with a hint of mandarin emerging on the aftertaste.
