The 2006 Shiraz (65%)-Cabernet Sauvignon (35%) WOMS , an acronym for Weapon of Mass Seduction, sourced from vines ranging in age from 45 to 109 years, and aged for 18 months in new and one year French oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it reveals a sexy perfume of pain grille, underbrush, pencil lead, black currant, and blueberry. Full-bodied on the palate, it demands 4-6 years of cellaring to reveal its full potential. The tannins are ripe and there are tons of spicy fruit so it should provide satisfying drinking from 2013 to 2026.

The Kaesler family, of Silesian origin, emigrated to the Barossa in the 1840s. The winemaking is in the hands of Reid Bosward and Stephen Dew.
