This Cabernet clearly demonstrates the flavour profile of ripe Cabernet fruit grown in the Barossa. Produced form vines planted in 1985 and having spent 15 months in French oak, it was bottled without fining or filtration.

Totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue, showing strong cling to the glass walls. Superb nose, with top note of dark chocolate followed by spice and violets, delivering a perfumed lift. Generous palate, with flavours of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, spice and plum. Fine dryish tannins, excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of blackcurrant, chocolate and spice.
