2006 Jones Road Chardonnay

Deep straw pale gold colour with pale straw hue. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of nectarine, honeycombe, cashew, yeast lees and spice followed by some toast end notes. The palate displays excellent barrel ferment complexity, weight and richness with flavours of honeycombe, nectarine and biscuit. followed by some spice notes on the back palate. Creamy texture. Clean finish with aftertaste of cashew, honeycombe, hazelnut and yeast lees. A well made, full bodied and richly flavoured Chardonnay.
Drink now or cellar a futher 2 years (2009-2011)
