Notes from the bottlers... Sauternes Hogshead with an outturn of 281 bottles. Colour: Burnt amber. Nose: Waves of apricot. Caramel, over-ripe plums and figs. Taste: Seriously intense - a very concentrated extravaganza of orchard fruits. Honeyed apricots, lightly toasted apple-and-raisin strudel, dusted with cinnamon. Muscovado sugar, allspice and marmalade. Finish: Rich, fruity and super sweet. Ideally paired with Highland Chocolate from Chocisky. 5.6% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
