2006 Hardy's HRB/637 Shiraz

Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose of violets followed by spice, liquorice all sorts and a hint of cedar. The palate flavour profile is restrained, typical of cool climate Shiraz and its influence can be attributed to the Adelaide Hills component. Flavours of liquorice and confectionary are layered with stewed fruit and cedar. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, cedar, spice and confectionary. An impressive refined style.
