2006 Forest Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

An elegant cool climate Cabernet. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve purple hue. Perfumed nose of cassis, followed by a hint of liquorice allsorts and cassis. The palate is tightly knit, with subtle flavours of cassis, blackcurrant and spice emerging over a light liquorice background. Fine dryish tannins, well balanced. Aftertaste of cassis, liquorice allsorts and just a touch of truffle making a last appearance.
