2006 Fire Block Grenache

Deep dark crimson mauve colour with mauve crimson hue. Perfumed aromas of black raspberry, liquorice and confectionary followed by a touch of vanillin spice. Medium to full bodied with a rich ripe joosy flavour profile of spice, ripe raspberry, plum and a touch of liquorice. Very fine grained soft tannins with long aftertaste of very ripe raspberry, spice and liquorice. Opulent, round and spicy, this is an excellent example of Grenache.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
